This has been a remarkable year for music. From mix tapes to new releases, the creativity and goodness that’s been released in 2010 keeps me secure in the fact that music is in good hands.
Former Floetry member Natalie “The Floacist” Stewart has just released her new project–Floetic Soul–and trust me when I tell you, it’s one of those gems.
A track I’ve fallen in love with upon first spin is the Lalah Hathaway-featured “Come Over.” Her luscious vocals paired with Natalie’s seductive accent puts you in the mood for wine and um, grind. Heh. Seriously, this is the type of soul music that does exactly what it’s supposed to: touch the soul.
Give it a listen and let us know what you think. #love
